This division is proudly sponsored by Eskamoe's Frozen custard. If you are running in this division and want to be a part of the winnings at the end of each evening you must run a Eskamoe's sticker on the passenger side of your race car. No sticker no money. Sticker provided by MMS. This division is designed for the driver who wants to race at an inexpensive cost. This will be a paid class. This car will be able to run in the Figure 8 division with no modifications.
You must be at least 12 years old to race in this class. No passengers will be allowed to be in car with you. This is professional auto racing not play time.This division is a stock race car. Leave it that way. If you want to race with big engines and load bolts please run an upper division. You will have 2 weeks to correct anything that the tech official knows you need to do to be safe.
CHEATERS- Anything not covered by the following rules; abuse of rules and creative interpretation of the rules will result in suspension from MMS. You should check with a tech inspector before proceeding. If it's not factory DON'T DO IT. Any decision on questionable items about rules is up to the tech inspector and his or her decisions are FINAL!
2007 RULES & SPECIFICATIONS
Engines-must remain stock in stock location. No modifications at all. NO BIG BLOCKS
If your local track allows a mini starter you may run it. All engine parts must be OEM and in working order. Solid motor and transmission mounts are allowed.
Camshaft, Valvetrain, and Cylinder Heads: Hydraulic cam and lifters only, .447
maximum lift and maintain minimum of 14" vacuum at 1200 RPM. 1.94 maximum
diameter valves on all small block Chevrolet. Stock size valve springs only.
Stamped steel 1.5 rockers only, no roller tips. Open chambered cylinder heads
only, must be unaltered, OEM steel heads May use stock type screw in
studs.305 chevy engines may use 305 heads.
S-10 chevy,ford ranger or small dodge Dakota can run in this division with the approved engines. 350 chevy, 351 windsor and dodge 360. Must remain stock. 3.500 pounds after feature with driver. Must adhear to all bomber class rules.
WEIGHT-3000 POUNDS WITH THE DRIVER AFTER THE FEATURE.
Radiator- Can use aftermarket. Must be in stock location or close after frame has be moved by racing accident. No Anti-freeze or additives. You will be fined $25.00 for clean up. Race tracks across the country enforce this rule.
Carburetion- Must be on naturally aspirated unaltered stock
type carburetor for that make and model. No more than 1†spacer or adapter. Can remove choke. If your track rule allows it you can run it.
Fuel pumps-Must be stock. No electric pumps.
Fuel tank- may be in original location or secured in trunk. Fuel cell recommended.
Exhaust- Must be stock cast iron exhaust manifolds for your year, make & Model only, no center Dumpers of any kind. If MMS has any doubts we will look it up right at tech building with you standing there.
Intake Manifold-stock intake only.NO ALUMINUM INTAKES. If it did not come with your car then don't try it.
Transmissions- Stock automatic or standard. No racing converters. Transmission cooler are allowed. No Aluminum fly wheels Stock single disc clutch only for standards.
Drive shaft- All drive-shafts must have a safety strap on it. Drive shaft must be painted white.
Safety- Racing suits are not mandatory but recommended. You must wear a long sleeve shirt & pants. An approved snell helmet is mandatory. No open face helmets. You must add a fire extinguisher in drivers reach.
Roll cage- not mandatory but recommended. 4 point only and must be welded to frame. No kick down bars out back seat area. No radiator protection bars allowed. No trunk bars. If your local track allows it then MMS will allow it.
Doors- Must be welded or chained shut. Take out glass but windshield. Ni mirrors of any kind.
Body: Any American made stock passenger car with full frame, or Chrysler uni-
Bodies. No front wheel drives. No aftermarket plastic nose or tail pieces, If you don't have a windshield you must have 3 protected bars that your dirt track requires. Front and rear outer fenders may be cut for wheel and tire clearance.
No Enclosed interiors. No Exceptions.
Bumpers- Must be stock for year, make and model. You must have a tow chain on front and rear bumper for quick tow. No EXCEPTIONS. Plastic nose pieces are allowed. But must meet tech mans approval.
Brakes- All must be in working order. All components must be stock in stock location. Your track rule applies unless you are allowed to modify.
Tires and Wheels- 8" max. wide wheels allowed, 15†dia. steel wheels only. You can run a 1†lug nut. Hoosier asphalt pull-offs can be used Pull offs will have a minimum durometer supplied by Hoosier. MMS will allow any driver who wants to run our track Goodyear tire you may. These tires will last at least 8 weeks unless you cut it. If you win a feature racing on Goodyears we will add a $25 bonus to your check.
Seats- May be stock with stock seat belt. Racing seats and belts are permitted.
Steering-Can us a racing dis-connect steering wheel.No quickners.
Suspension-Front and rear suspension must be stock for that make and model
of car. No modifications of the suspension will be allowed. No air shocks or aftermarket racing parts.
Rear end- stock rear-end for make and model. Gears must remain unlocked, no
posi-traction. NO EXCEPTIONS. If your track allows it don’t bring it to ours. We will not bend on this rule.
Shocks & Springs- Stock mount only. No modifications what so ever. No cutting or heating of springs. If your track allows minor modifications please bring your Stock rule book with you.

Protest Rule-You must be specific on what you want protested. Any driver in the same race on the lead lap may protest another car Immediately after feature in the tech area.. If you feel another driver is cheating you can be in the tech area looking over the tech of the car. $ 250.00 cash $ 50.00 to the
track, if legal protested car gets $ 200.00 if illegal protester gets $ 200.00 back
I don't see a claim rule in your rules?
MMS will take pride in checking our cars. Our tech guys are some of the best mechanics in the business. So please try us. Our local racing results will have a cheaters section. If you are caught cheating everyone will know by reading the paper.
If you follow the above rules you will have a chance to win ever time you leave your house.
If you show up and have minor infractions with your race car you will be able to compete one week. This will be up to the promoter's discretion. This class will be competitive and we will not tolerate any racer who tries to bend the rules week after week.
