Mark Underwood, Jr. Takes top Honors for State of Louisiana

Monroe Motor Speedway: It was salute to the military and what a night it was. Songs were song and flags were displayed. On sight was a 2 by 2 foot bamboo cell that prisoners of war were held captive in. It was a remembrance and what the men and women of our armed forces endure to protect our everyday freedom. A Sgt. in the National Guard even got down on his knee and asked his proposed to his girlfriend.

Up first was the faster pastor race which was postponed from last week due to the weather. It was Eddy Shoemaker, driving the No.4 car of Rodney Ates, passing Mark Foster, driving the X1 belonging to Jerry Masters, to take the checkered flag and being crowned the fastest pastor.

With the final night of points racing numbers were added up and the track champions were crowned. In the Bandits division it is the No.5 of Brandon Eads.
